Het blijft vreemd dat de Alpensinfonie als werk van operacomponist Strauss niet helemaal serieus lijkt te worden genomen. Terwijl het echt een bloedmooi stuk muziek is. Hier in opname van het SO van Luik o.l.v. Pierre Bartholomée, opgenomen tijdens een werkelijk onberispelijk live-uitvoering in 1983. Plaat en album van het label Ricercar zijn practisch in nieuwstaat. Als u deze plaat koopt, mag u er voor hetzelfde geld nog 2 uitzoeken. Ik kan u de bundel dan voor € 9 aanbieden.
